The right Package for you depends on a number of factors – Speed / Size / Quality / Minutes.
Speed, size and quality are all linked together - essentially, the higher internet speed your audience has, the bigger size and/or better quality your video player can be. Minutes are the duration of your video and the amount of times watched - you get a big block of minutes free with your Package, then you can buy more blocks of minutes just like a phonecard.

The Entry Level Package - £99

You’ve just watched (we hope) our Intro Video, which was optimised for viewing using a 512k (½ MB) connection. This is the size and quality of our entry-level package IVC Standard. Currently, this would be ideal for most uses, especially for reaching the domestic market, who are still mostly on 512k.

All packages get:

	Our unique ProCode process, which hand-grades, compresses and encodes your film to the best quality, uploads it to our dedicated servers, and delivers it instantly on demand.
	A choice of four designer video screens, positioned in a 'vanilla' webwindow. See them Classic Chameleon Clean, frameless, modern Hi tech design, any colour you like! Plasma ArtScreen Flatscreen TV, with a cool move Sophisticated frame, with floating controls
	3000 minutes of viewing (i.e. if your video is 3 minutes long, you get 1000 viewings).

Different Packages are then priced according to their Screen Size and File Size, and the number of free minutes included. Obviously, the more minutes you include the lower the per-minute cost.
These prices are for videos up to 10 minutes duration. An additional charge of £25 will be made for each additional 5 minutes or part thereof runtime.

SPEED	SIZE	QUALITY	MINUTES
You need to choose the internet connection speed that will allow the majority of your intended audience to see your video. Currently we would estimate that the majority of domestic (home) broadband users still have 512k or ½ Megabyte. Those in offices probably have access to 1MB or 2MB. Those in high tech or media offices probably have access to 2MB or more.	Our standard player is 480 x 310 pixels, which occupies about ¼ of an average web page. This is a good size for most users, as the pop-up window it comes in will 'float' neatly over their website and look part of it, while allowing a good viewing experience. Our Super player is 640 x 480, which is a very impressive size and will float over the majority of the page, giving a cinematic experience.	Our IVC Standard is optimised to play instantly and smoothly for 512k connections. IVC Standard Plus and IVC Super are optimised for 1MB connections. IVC Super Plus is optimised for 2MB connections. The Plus players will have a higher quality image for their size.	Choose the package that reflects your audience's likely usage. Each minute of delivered stream costs a tiny amount to cover hosting and delivery costs. We include a large block of minutes in your Package price. How long the block lasts depends on the duration of your video and how popular it is. You can buy further blocks of minutes at any time to top up your account, just like a Pay As You Go phone.

1.	Choose the package that best suits your video and proceed to the Order Form. Fill out the Order Form, with your payment details, and click send.
2.	Get your video on the correct format. To obtain the best results for you, we need the video in as high a quality format as possible.
	Best formats:
		.avi file (5:1 compression or better) burned to disc DV tape (Mini DV / DVCAM) (others by arrangement)
	Next best formats:
		DVD MPEG1 or MPEG2 .wmv file .mov file Hi-8 tape
	If you have no choice:
		VHS tape
3.	Send it Registered Post or Courier * to: The Internet Video Company Studios The Old Post Office Bighton Hants SO24 9RB United Kingdom * NB: Whilst we take every care of your videos while they are in our hands, we cannot be responsible for more than the intrinsic value of the media, so please do not send us the only copy of your video. Use registered post services or couriers where possible. If you need the video back, please tick the return box on the Order Form (there is a charge).
4.	When we have received your order and film, we will put it through our ProCode process and place it on the internet for you to see. When you're happy, send us a Confimation email (here) and we will take your payment. You may then take the link and paste it, or get your webmaster to paste it, onto any web page you like. It will then play on demand, and continue to play every time it is demanded, for as many minutes as your chosen Packages allows.
	Your link is, in effect, a mini website, so you may place the link anywhere you like - on a web page, in an email, or even print it in your literature.
5.	When your minutes are getting low, we will email you asking if you wish to order more minutes. This can be done in blocks of £100, based on your Package's MoreMinutes rates.

Streaming is the delivery of video, or audio, to a webpage so the viewer can watch it smoothly on demand, with no need to download it. With our type of streaming, the film is held in the viewer's computer's cache until it is cleared, meaning any time the programme is watched on that computer, there's no charge to you!

That has to remain our secret, but we have spent nearly two years perfecting a complicated system of propritary software, scholarly knowhow and technical craftsmenship, which goes into each and every ProCode we do. That's why it looks so good. Luckily you don't have to worry about how it's done, because it's so easy and cheap to buy!

No, it's a one-off price to put up your video, which includes a block of minutes, then you can buy further blocks of minutes if you wish. There's no contract, you are committed to nothing, and you can stop showing the film simply by removing the link from your pages.

The responsibility for the content and ownership of your submitted video programmes is a matter for you. The Internet Video Company Limited will not allow certain material to be shown on its system, such as clearly offensive material, and reserves the absolute right to refuse access to any material it deems inappropriate. You must sign a Copyright declaration when you order confirming that you are responsible for the rights in the material. You should be aware that items such as commercial music performances, image rights, scripts and performer and narrator performances may carry rights consequences, and that all enquiries received by us will be referred to the submitter of the material.

You can if you want to, but none of our clients do, so far. We simply offer the hosting and streaming as part of the initial package, and to make it much easier for you.

If you want to host and stream yourself, and just let us supply the ProCoded™ files, you can. If you also want one of our players, they are licenceable by a small annual charge.
